Nestled along the Boise River in downtown Boise, a high-end apartment business center was recently remodeled to reflect the upscale nature of its surroundings. Central to the design were custom-stained white oak booths and partitions, meticulously crafted and installed to provide both functionality and elegance. The rich tones of the stained wood added warmth and sophistication to the space, creating an inviting atmosphere for residents and professionals alike.
These booths and partitions were strategically placed to offer privacy without sacrificing the open, airy feel of the business center. Their design not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal but also provided practical solutions for those needing quiet spaces for work or meetings. The combination of modern amenities with timeless materials like white oak made this business center a standout feature of the apartment complex, perfectly blending luxury with practicality.
The Challenges
The remodel of the high-end apartment business center in downtown Boise presented significant logistical challenges. Located on the second floor, far from elevators and vehicle access, transporting the custom-stained white oak booths and partitions into the space was no small feat. Due to their size, the booths had to be assembled on-site, requiring careful planning and precise craftsmanship to ensure a perfect fit.
In addition to the physical challenges, coordinating with other trades working in the same space was another hurdle. Electricians, flooring specialists, painters, and an upholstery team were all simultaneously working on different aspects of the remodel. This required meticulous scheduling and collaboration to ensure that the installation of the booths and partitions could proceed smoothly without causing delays or conflicts with other trades. Despite these obstacles, the project was completed successfully, resulting in a business center that combines luxury, functionality, and a cohesive design that aligns perfectly with the high-end apartments and their riverside location.
However, delays in material deliveries and vendor scheduling setbacks threatened to derail the project. Coordinating with multiple suppliers to keep the timeline moving forward required constant communication and quick problem-solving. Despite these challenges, the team managed to overcome the obstacles, completing the kitchen remodel just in time. The finished space now perfectly complements the sleek design of the surrounding facilities, providing a functional and stylish kitchen that enhances the overall appeal of the clubhouse.
