Project Description

Client: Enderud
Location:  Hidden Springs, ID
Year Completed:  2024

This kitchen remodel involved a significant update to the cabinetry, breathing new life into the space. The project included replacing all the cabinet doors and drawer fronts, giving the kitchen a fresh, modern appearance. Each new door and drawer slab was carefully selected and installed to enhance the overall design while providing improved functionality.

In addition to these upgrades, the upper bank of wall cabinets was completely rebuilt. This allowed for better storage solutions and a more cohesive look, aligning the upper cabinetry with the newly installed doors and drawers below. The combination of these updates resulted in a kitchen that felt entirely renewed, with a blend of style and practicality that transformed the heart of the home.

The Challenges

The kitchen remodel, which involved replacing all cabinet doors and drawer fronts and rebuilding the upper bank of wall cabinets, came with its own set of challenges. The primary difficulty was fabricating new doors and drawer fronts to precisely match the existing Euro-style cabinet boxes. This required careful attention to detail to ensure that the new components seamlessly integrated with the existing cabinetry, maintaining a uniform look throughout the kitchen.

Another challenge was sourcing and matching the hardware to the original design. Finding hardware that complemented both the new and existing elements was essential to achieving a cohesive and polished finish. Despite these challenges, the project was successfully completed, resulting in a refreshed kitchen that harmonized old and new elements to create a cohesive and updated space.
