Project Description

Client:  Cracolicia
Location:  Kuna, ID
Year Completed:  2021

This extensive remodel project included a complete transformation of the kitchen, laundry room, guest bathroom, and master bathroom, all tied together by the use of custom rustic hickory cabinets. Each cabinet was fabricated on-site from scratch, allowing for a truly bespoke design that perfectly suited the homeowner’s vision.

In the kitchen, the hand-crafted hickory cabinets became the focal point, bringing warmth and character to the space. Their rich, natural wood tones complemented the overall rustic aesthetic, creating a welcoming environment ideal for cooking and entertaining. The same level of craftsmanship extended into the laundry room, where the custom cabinetry provided ample storage while maintaining the cohesive design.

The guest bathroom received a similar treatment, with the hickory cabinets adding a touch of rustic elegance to the space. In the master bathroom, the cabinets were designed with added attention to detail, offering both beauty and functionality. The on-site fabrication allowed for a level of customization that ensured every cabinet fit perfectly within its designated space, enhancing the overall flow and feel of each room. The result was a harmonious blend of rustic charm and modern convenience throughout the home.

The Challenges

The remodel of the kitchen, laundry room, guest bathroom, and master bathroom was not without its challenges. One of the primary obstacles was the need to complete the project in phases to ensure the homeowner always had access to a functional bathroom during construction. This required careful planning and sequencing of the work, with each phase meticulously timed to minimize disruption while maintaining progress.

Additionally, the decision to fabricate the rustic hickory cabinets on-site added another layer of complexity. Building the cabinets from scratch within the home demanded a high level of precision and craftsmanship, all while working within the constraints of an active construction site. The team had to manage the space efficiently, balancing the demands of on-site fabrication with the ongoing remodel work. Despite these challenges, the project was executed successfully, resulting in a beautifully cohesive design that met the homeowner’s needs without compromising on quality or convenience.
